The geographical scope of the insurance coverage includes engagements within the member states of the European Union. The insurance coverage does not include liability claims for engagements of firms or agencies in other states concerning counselling and occupation with non-European law and the appearance of a lawyer before a non-European court. For liability claims against the insurance holder before non-European courts the compensations do not exceed the minimum compulsory insurance sum.
